Bolga baskets are handwoven in the Bolgatanga (Bolga) region of Northern Ghana, West Africa.  They are woven from local, abundant Elephant Grass and are extremely strong and durable.  They are great as a shopping basket, for the beach or picnics or for storing toys and other items.  Pictures are for illustrative purposes only and designs vary in colour and pattern.  As each basket is handmade the size can also vary.  Tell us what colours/tones you are looking for and we will select a basket to match.  If you're not sure and would like us to choose for you, we're more than happy to do that.
