CLASSES
Kofi (Paul) Osei, master drummer with Akwaaba, runs drumming workshops for people interested in learning how to play the djembe, dundun, bell and shakers. You'll be taught how to perfect the basic techniques of African hand drumming while learning a variety of exciting rhythms from all over West Africa. His classes cater for the novice right through to the skilled drummer who wants to add a little bit of spice to their drumming style. Instruments are supplied at every class.
Kofi's workshops are conducted in a fun, friendly and supportive atmosphere. He is currently running the following workshops:

Tuesdays 7.00pm - 8.30pm - Introduction to African Drumming (6 weeks)
Shop 68/69 Wanneroo Markets, 33 Prindiville Drive, Wangara.
Learn the basic technique for playing djembe along with some traditional
rhythms from West Africa. This class is suitable for people who have recently starting
playing djembe or wish to start.
Drums are supplied at every class. Class fees are $150/$135 (conc) for 6 weeks.
Class dates: 15/22/29 October & 5/12/19 November.
Payment can be made in store (Friday-Sunday) or online.

This class is suitable for people who have some experience in playing African drums.
Classes run on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Wednesday of each month.
The cost is $25 per class.
