::: Drumming Workshops
- ~ Paul Osei Kofi, master drummer with Akwaaba, runs drumming workshops for people interested in learning how to play the djembe, dundun, bell and shakers. You'll be taught how to perfect the basic techniques of African hand drumming while learning a variety of exciting rhythms from all over West Africa. His classes cater for the novice right through to the skilled drummer who wants to add a little bit of spice to their drumming style. Instruments are supplied at every class.
Paul's workshops are conducted in a fun and friendly atmosphere, full of energy and space for people to express themselves either on the drum or through dance. He is currently running the following workshops:
- Mondays 7.30pm - 9.00pm - next 6 week course starting 23 January 2012
